The Competition

• The promoter is Bonkers Money Limited, Nutley Building, Nutley Lane, Dublin D04 T4A4, Ireland (“bonkers.ie” or “the Promoter”).
• The competition is open to persons aged 18 or over who are resident in the Republic of Ireland.
• By participating in this competition, entrants confirm their agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
• The competition opens on October 1st and closes at Midnight on December 15th.
• To enter the competition, an eligible customer must successfully switch at least one qualifying product through bonkers.ie during the Competition Period.
• The qualifying products are:
  • Energy
  • Broadband
  • Home Insurance
  • Car Insurance

• Business Energy, Mortgages, Protection and any other products not specifically listed above are excluded from this competition.
• Each qualifying product switched during the Competition Period will count as one entry into the competition. For example, a customer who completes an eligible Energy switch and an eligible Broadband switch will receive two entries into the draw.
• Customers may therefore increase the number of entries they receive by switching more than one qualifying product. Each individual qualifying product may only generate one competition entry per customer.
• There is no separate competition entry form. Eligible entries will be identified by the Promoter from completed qualifying switches recorded through bonkers.ie during the Competition Period.
• A switch must meet the Promoter’s normal requirements for a valid / completed switch to qualify. Cancelled, reversed, unsuccessful, fraudulent, duplicated or otherwise invalid switches will not qualify for entry. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility and validity of any switch before including it in the draw.
• One winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Competition Period. As customers may receive more than one entry, customers with multiple valid entries will have a correspondingly greater chance of being selected. The odds of winning will depend on the total number of valid entries received.

The Prize

• The winner will receive a cash prize based on double the savings achieved through their qualifying switch(es), up to a maximum prize of €2,000.
• For example, where the winner’s eligible savings are calculated at €600, the prize will be €1,200. Where double the eligible savings would exceed €2,000, the winner will receive the maximum prize of €2,000.
• The customer’s eligible savings will be calculated using the estimated annual savings recorded by bonkers.ie at the time of each qualifying switch. Where a customer completes multiple qualifying switches during the competition period, the estimated annual savings from each eligible switch will be combined to determine the total savings amount. The winner will receive double this amount, up to a maximum prize of €2,000.
• The maximum prize payable under this competition is €2,000.
• The prize is personal to the winner and no alternative prize will be offered.

Winner Selection & Notification

• The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries within 7 days of the competition closing date.
• The winner will be contacted using the contact details provided as part of their qualifying switch.
• The winner may be required to provide reasonable information to verify their identity and eligibility before the prize is awarded.
• If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within 7 days, is found to be ineligible, or their qualifying switch is subsequently found to be invalid, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random from the remaining valid entries.
• The Promoter will arrange payment of the prize directly with the winner. The Promoter will never ask the winner to pay a fee or provide login details in order to claim the prize.

General Conditions

• The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant where it reasonably believes there has been fraud, abuse, manipulation of the competition, duplicate or invalid switching activity, or a breach of these Terms and Conditions.
• The Promoter accepts no responsibility for switches or entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, incorrectly recorded or not received due to technical failures or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
• The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the competition, prize or these Terms and Conditions where it becomes necessary to do so because of circumstances outside its reasonable control or to comply with applicable law or regulation.
• The Promoter’s decision in relation to the administration of the competition and the selection of the winner is final, subject to applicable law.
• Any personal data processed in connection with the competition will be used for the purposes of administering the competition, verifying eligibility, contacting the winner and awarding the prize, in accordance with applicable Irish data protection legislation and GDPR. • The winner may be invited to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the competition.
• The winner’s name will be available [7] days after the draw by emailing fran.garofano@bonkers.ie.
• Where the competition is promoted on social media, the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta (Facebook or Instagram), TikTok, X, LinkedIn or any other social network.
• Where the competition is promoted by influencers or content creators, promotional content will be clearly identified as advertising where required under applicable advertising rules.
• The competition and these Terms and Conditions are governed by Irish law and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
