Virgin Media has kicked off the New Year with a host of great offers. And with January a popular month for consumers to switch and save on their bills, it's the perfect time to check out these great deals that you won’t want to miss!
It might not be hot outside but Virgin Media has turned up the heat with some scorching New Year’s deals.
Whether it’s cheap broadband, a low cost-mobile plan, or a top-notch entertainment package, Virgin seems to have something for everyone. Those interested in a triple-play bundle could even get their hands on Sky Sports or Sky Cinema for just €1 a month.
Here’s what’s on offer…
Broadband - €30 off for six months
Virgin is offering a hefty €30 discount off all its broadband packages for six months.
Virgin’s broadband deals usually tend to be a bit more expensive than the competition, but one thing it’s rarely beaten on is speed.
Its entry-level broadband offers 250Mbps speeds and its top package goes all the way to 1Gbps.
Here’s a look at what’s on offer…
- 250Mbps Broadband - €30 per month for six months, €60 thereafter
- 360Mbps Broadband - €35 per month for six months, €65 thereafter
- 500Mbps Broadband - €41 per month for six months, €71 thereafter
- 1Gbps Broadband - €55 per month for six months, €85 thereafter
These broadband deals are open to new customers of Virgin Media until 2nd March.
Mobile from only €5 a month
Virgin’s €5 mobile deal is back.
Virgin is offering unlimited mobile for everyone for only €5 a month for six months as part of its new SIM-only deal.
As the name implies, the deal gives customers unlimited calls, texts and 4G data to any network for just a fiver.
After the first six months are up, the price will revert to €25 a month, which is still fairly reasonable in our opinion!
What's more, it’s all on a 30-day rolling contract meaning you can cancel at any time - either during the first six months or after.
This deal is open to all new Virgin Mobile customers - including existing broadband and TV customers of Virgin Media - until 2nd March.
Existing Virgin Mobile customers can add an additional SIM to their account for family or friends (up to a maximum of four per account) to avail of the offer if they wish.

Get Sky Sports or Sky Cinema for just €1 a month
If you’re looking for a broadband, TV and home phone package, Virgin is offering a €38 discount off all its triple-play bundles for an entire year.
And on top of this, Virgin is offering the choice of either Sky Sports or Sky Cinema for only €1 extra a month for 12 months.
So whether you’re a sports fanatic sitting on the edge of your seat for every game, or a cinephile deconstructing every movie for matters of theme and style, there is something for everyone!

This deal is open to all new Virgin Media TV customers until 2nd March. So if you currently only have broadband with Virgin, and are upgrading your package, you can avail of this deal even though you are already a Virgin customer.
