Restrictions & Charges:
- This is a standalone account, you do not require a separate payment account from Bank of Ireland.
- Minimum age of the account holder is 18 years.
- Minimum balance is €1.
- Account balances in excess of €99,999 will attract a higher rate of interest.
- Interest payments are subject to Deposit Interest Retention Tax (DIRT) at the prevailing rate, currently 39%.
- No transaction fees are applied by Bank of Ireland for lodgements to or withdrawals from the Account. Bank of Ireland may, at their discretion and without prior consultation with you, apply transaction fees to the Account in the future. This shall only be done subject to approval by the relevant regulatory authority and reasonable notice to you.
