About the Account:
- Regular deposits are not required.
- No minimum term
- Lump Sum lodgements up to a cumulative total of €1,000,000 are allowed at any time.
- Flexible deposit amounts are permitted
- Interest is credited annually in March.
- No introductory offers are available. Joint Account available.
- No ATM card.
Restrictions & Charges:
- 365 deposit accounts can only be opened by registered users of 365 phone and online customers with a personal Bank of Ireland current account.
- Minimum age of the account holder is 18 years.
- Minimum balance is €5,000.
- Maximum balance is €1,000,000.
- Interest payments are subject to Deposit Interest Retention Tax (DIRT) at the prevailing rate, currently 39%.
- No transaction fees are applied by Bank of Ireland for lodgements to or withdrawals from the Account. Bank of Ireland may, at their discretion and without prior consultation with you, apply transaction fees to the Account in the future. This shall only be done subject to approval by the relevant regulatory authority and reasonable notice to you.
- No fees or charges are levied.
- If your Account balance falls below €5,000, your Account may be converted to the Variable Rate Call Account - which is a standard Demand Deposit Account. The funds will then receive the prevailing rate for that Account.
