Restrictions & charges

  • To open an AIB Regular Saver Account, you must have a suitable AIB payment account, such as an AIB Demand Deposit Account or AIB Personal Bank Account.
  • Minimum age of the account holder is 18 years
  • Maximum balance is unlimited
  • Interest payments are subject to Deposit Interest Retention Tax (DIRT) at the prevailing rate
  • Customers are permitted to hold a total of four accounts in their sole name regardless of when the accounts were opened.
  • No fees or charges apply to the AIB Regular Saver Account.
