Just Energy, a relatively new player in the Irish energy market, is now offering price discounts on a number of electricity-only and dual fuel plans for the first time.

If you’re in the market for a new electricity-only plan or dual fuel plan, Just Energy’s new discounted offers could be just the ticket for you!

Let’s take a look at the details.

10% off of electricity for a year

New customers can sign up to any of Just Energy’s 1 Year Variable rates to get 10% knocked off of their electricity bill for the duration of their one year contract.

There are a number of rates available on this plan to choose from, which vary depending on which methods you choose to receive and pay your bills.

The cheapest option is to go for online billing and direct debit payment. On this plan you pay 15.55 cent per kWh of electricity and 38.58 cent per day for your standing charge (both prices include VAT).

Over the course of their first year, a customer switching from typical standard rates should stand to make an average saving of €116 by signing up to Just Energy’s new 10% discount electricity-only plan.

15% off of electricity for a year in a dual fuel bundle

There are even greater savings to be made if you decide to switch both your electricity and gas to Just Energy and sign up to its new Dual Fuel 1 Year Variable discounted plan which will knock 15% off the price of your electricity for your first year.

As with the electricity-only plans, there are a number of rates available on this plan to choose from, which vary depending on which methods you choose to receive and pay your bills and again, the cheapest option to go with is to sign up for online billing and direct debit payment of your bills.

On this plan, you’ll pay 14.69 cent per kWh of electricity and 5.255 cent per kWh of gas. The daily standing charges are 38.58 cent and 16.74 cent for electricity and gas respectively (all prices quoted include VAT).

This means that over the course of their first year, a customer switching from typical standard rates should expect to make an average saving of €277 by switching both their electricity and gas to Just Energy’s new 1 year discounted dual fuel offer.

But wait, who are Just Energy?

Just Energy are very new to the Irish market, having only joined last September but the company is already making a big impact.

The supplier has been making waves with its ‘unlimited’ and fixed price plans that offer the consumer something a little different when it comes to their energy options.
