It's been a tough year for the Irish consumer with price hikes aplenty in the gas and electricity department, but Flogas is here just in time to help keep your home cosy for less this winter.
Flogas is offering a 25% gas discount to new customers who sign up via bonkers.ie from today until 31st December 2018.
This is good news after what has proved to be a rather tough year on the pockets of energy customers as there have been uniform hikes in prices from suppliers.
The recent hikes were said to reflect the rise in gas prices on wholesale markets, but this latest deal will land just in time for the holiday season.
This comes on the back of news from the Government that they will extend the fuel allowance season from 27 to 28 weeks, and data from the EU statistical agency Eurostat which says that Ireland has the second highest rate of homes among peer countries in the EU who lack the funds to adequately warm their house throughout the harsh winter months.
As well as giving new customers 25% off their standard unit gas rate, Floógas will also cut its annual standing charge from €109.56 to €65.83, helping you save even more.
Squeezing every last cent can be trying, however staying vigilant and switching regularly can keep you ahead of the curve when it comes to paying lower prices.
