Eir’s welcome credit is on offer to new customers only and can be claimed by signing up to a broadband-only deal or a broadband bundle until July 31st.
Great news for those considering switching their broadband to Eir as the company has announced a brand new welcome credit.
New residential broadband customers will receive a gift of €50 off their first bill when they sign up to a new broadband service from the provider.
Here’s everything you need to know.
Eir welcome credit
The €50 welcome credit is available to all new customers who sign up to a broadband package with Eir between the 6th and the 31st of July.
The credit means that €50 will be taken off your Eir bill, which will be applied at the end of August. The credit will appear on customers' September 2022 bill.
So if you sign up to a broadband deal like its offer for €34.99 for example, you could get €50 off one of your first bills.
But that’s not all…
Eir waiving fees
In addition to the welcome credit for new broadband customers, Eir has also announced that it’s waiving some of its initial set-up fees.
Eir is removing its Bundle Activation Fee of €29.99 for the duration of the offer period. This fee normally applies for new customers who are signing up to a bundle deal - one with broadband, TV and home phone - but will be suspended for July.
Its Installation Fee for FTTH broadband services, normally €99, is also being waived on 12-month contracts for the duration of the above offer period.
