A Dublin native, David founded bonkers.ie in 2010 to provide a comprehensive price comparison and switching service to the Irish consumer, who had been lacking the ability to efficiently research the personal finance market. David has been providing price comparison software and services from Dublin since 1999 to the UK market, the most mature price comparison market in the world.

David holds unique experience in delivering world-class technology solutions to provide rich vertical search engines to consumers enabling the provision of accurate, impartial and concise product comparisons, matched to their preferences.

A founding Director of bonkers.ie, Simon Moynihan drove the company's Communications and PR strategy across print, broadcast and online media between 2010 and 2017. bonkers.ie is now firmly established as a trusted media source for comment and content across a range of topics, with the founders regularly contributing to popular broadcast productions.

Prior to bonkers.ie, Simon spent four years managing partner and customer relationships for UK price comparison services, giving him a unique knowledge of the price comparison and switching market.

Former Head of Communications at bonkers.ie, Mark worked with the company for three years between 2015 and 2018. During this time he carved out a name for himself as an engaging and insightful commentator in the Irish personal finance market. With a background in digital marketing and event management, Mark headed up all of our social media accounts and hosted over 150 bonkers TV videos. He also organised the first two annual bonkers.ie National Consumer Awards ceremonies.

Robyn joined the content team in March 2017 having completed a Master’s degree in Advertising, with a specialisation in copywriting in 2016. Since arriving she has put her writing skills to good use, snapping up every news item that lands on her desk for the bonkers.ie blog.

An internet addict and technology addict, she has taken a particular interest in writing about telecommunications; from the latest news in broadband deals through to in-depth comparisons and thorough guides covering all areas of the topic. She also regularly writes and features in weekly episodes of bonkers.ie TV.

Daragh is Head of Communications at bonkers.ie and leads the company’s social media, communications, and PR strategy. Daragh has a degree in Business and Politics and recently completed a Master’s in Digital Marketing.

Before joining bonkers.ie, Daragh spent over 10 years working in the banking and insurance industry, giving him an in-depth and unique knowledge of financial services.

Along with teammate Conor, Daragh contributes towards our blog, our monthly newsletter and weekly videos.

Daragh’s writing covers all areas of personal finance but he has a particular interest in writing about the often confusing subject of mortgages and banking fees and charges.

With a background spread across Science, Journalism, and Business, Conor has bounded from working on radio, to working for search engines, to selling hot dogs. If you have had a job, Conor has also probably had that job.

But it is his weaving of narratives, particularly his copywriting skills, that put him squarely in the crosshairs of the recruiters at bonkers.ie. There he may finally focus his skills on bringing you the best consumer news, and maybe even helping out a little bit with bonkers TV...maybe.

Rob is a Staff Writer with bonkers.ie and works closely with the communications team to develop engaging and informative content in the personal finance space. Rob has a degree in Journalism & New Media from the University of Limerick.

Having worked in areas as diverse as corporate communications and the wine industry respectively, Rob enjoys bringing an eclectic mix of experiences to his writing, coupled with a significant talent in content development across a range of media and channels.

In his spare time Rob enjoys reading the biographies of famous comedians.

As well as having graduated from DCU with a degree in Marketing, Innovation and Technology, Sarah has experience working in the higher education sector and the drinks industry. 
Sarah writes about a variety of personal finance topics. She enjoys providing readers with money-saving tips and creating content about insurance and banking to help readers make informed decisions.

Caoimhe has an English and History degree and Digital Marketing post-graduate diploma from University College Dublin. She has previously worked in the education sector as an English teacher and spokesperson.
