Are broadband prices going up?

Broadband prices can be looked at in two ways. The cost of a bundle per year and the cost per megabit per second download speed. The cost per year will help identify the full annual cost and will take any introductory discounts into account, as well as the price change once the discount period expires.

The price per megabit per second is a steady-state pivot which should show how the overall cost of broadband is changing over time.

If you look at just that, then the clear fact is that the monthly cost of broadband per megabit per second has plummeted from €20 in 2010 to as low as €0.05 today.
