About Bord Gáis Energy

Bord Gáis Energy (BGE) is one of Ireland’s biggest energy providers and supplies gas and electricity to over 730,000 residential and business customers. 

Founded in 1976, BGE was originally a state-owned gas provider but is now part of Centrica plc Group following its sale by the Government. BGE has provided electricity also since 2009. 

BGE has an online account facility called ‘MyBGE’ through which customers can manage their bills and avail of an exclusive rewards club. It also has a partnership with Tesco whereby customers can earn Clubcard points every time they pay their energy bill.
