Ireland’s broadband and TV providers are joining in the Black Friday and Cyber Monday fun this year, offering some very competitive deals to new and existing customers alike.

Black Friday and Cyber Monday are here – those special two days of the year, when companies fall over themselves to offer great deals to customers, who in turn fall over eachother to snap them up.

This year, Ireland’s broadband providers are getting in on the act, offering some attractive limited edition offers to customers. Let’s take a look and the best deals out there.

eir

From November 25th until close of business on November 28th, eir is offering €50 cashback to customers who sign up for a broadband and home phone Dualplay deal.

The deal comes with unlimited 100 Mbps broadband and unlimited calls to landlines and mobiles in Ireland and the UK. It currently costs an average of €60 per month, so the €50 cashback is like getting one month for a tenner.

Eir is also offering €100 cashback to customers who sign up for a Tripleplay bundle.

That’s unlimited 100 Mb broadband, unlimited calls mobiles and landlines in Ireland and the UK and the eVision TV pack, which features over 50 channels.

It costs an average of €67 a  month over the course of the 18-month contract, so the €100 cashback is like getting a month and a half for free.

Both deals also come with free eir Sport.

Sky

Sky’s Black Friday offer is TV-focused.

Customers who sign up for Sky TV between now and December 8th will get a free 32” Samsung TV. The deal costs €29.50 a month over a 12-month contract.

As well as that, new and existing Sky customers can get half price Sky Sports for 6 months, half price Sky Cinema for 6 months and/or half price boxsets for 6 months.

Virgin Media

Although Virgin Media isn’t offering a Black Friday deal per se, the provider has been running a very competitive offer to new Tripleplay customers since September.

Customers who sign up for any Tripleplay deal will get a €50 discount every month for the first 6 months. So, a €300 discount in total.

As part of this deal, you can get unlimited 240 Mb broadband, a home phone plan that includes free calls to landlines in Ireland and 400 minutes to landlines in international designations and over 80 TV channels for an average of €55 a month over a 12-month contract.

Vodafone

Finally, Vodafone. Again, the provider isn’t offering an official Black Friday deal, but there’s still some good value to be had.

Vodafone is offering new customers a €30 discount every month for the first 6 months on its broadband and TV deal, along with a choice of 6 months of free eir Sport or 6 months or free Netflix.

This means you can get unlimited 100 Mb broadband and over 50 TV channels for an average of €60 a month over the course of the contract.
