bonkers.ie nominated for 2 Digital Media Awards

Dma

bonkers.ie is less than a year old, but web-years are like dog-years and a huge amount can happen in this business in a very short space of time.

For the crew at bonkers.ie, it’s been an exciting journey. Since we launched in the Spring of 2010, the reception we’ve received has been overwhelmingly positive. We’re pretty proud of what we’ve achieved so far, and we’re thrilled to be heading off to the new Dublin Convention Centre tonight for the Digital Media Awards.

We’ve been shortlisted in two award categories: Best in Financial Services and Best New Application. We’re up against some heavy-hitters in both categories of course, but we’re very pleased that we’ve been recognised alongside such esteemed competition.

So as we leave to get spiffed up, and watch the “how to tie a bow tie” video on Youtube for the 20th time, we’d all like to say a big thank you for the support we’ve received through 2010 and into 2011. It’s been a heck of a ride so far, and we couldn’t have done it without lots of help. We’d especially like to thank everyone who’s used bonkers.ie. Without you, we could never have come this far!

Thanks a mill

Amazing that some people advocate the lowering interest rates to 0%. This did not help Japan at all with their banking crisis and one can even argue that hyper credit is the cause of the crisis we’re currently facing. You simply cannot lend and spend your way out of the crisis.
