Electric idea lads

A NEW electricity provider has entered the market in Ireland and has promised cut-price rates.

Recycling firm Panda has launched Panda Power along with an investment of €40 million.

The Irish company is offering power via renewable sources.

The company will offer a discounted rate of 15.47 cent per unit, the lowest rate in the market at the moment, excluding any bundle deals.

David Kerr of comparison website bonkers.ie said: “Electricity customers can expect for an average household to save €159 (per year) against the standard unit rates that they may be paying to their energy supplier”
