AIB Select Fixed Term Deposit - 18 Months

If the term of your Account is for 6 months or greater, you may make a once-off mid-term withdrawal of up to 10% of the balance, providing the required minimum balance of €15,000 remains in the Account. Only one withdrawal is allowed per investment term.

About the account

  • You can only make withdrawals from your Account by transferring them to an AIB payment Account or another suitable AIB account. If you are a new customer, or do not already have a suitable AIB account, AIB recommend that you open an AIB Demand Deposit account for this purpose.
  • Minimum age of the account holder is 18 years.
  • Minimum balance is €15,000.
  • This account is a lump sum savings account suitable for all lump sum savings amounts between €15,000 and €100,000.
  • Interest payments are subject to Deposit Interest Retention Tax (DIRT) at the prevailing rate.
  • There is no limit to the amount of Fixed Term Deposits that you can have at any one time.
  • There are no account maintenance or transaction fees.
  • No fees or charges are levied.
