There are many comparison websites but some are better than others - and when it comes to services you need to be able to compare on content detail and by inputting your own usage details. Here are some useful ones:
 

  • www.callcosts.ie, run by the Commission for Communications Regulation, allows you to input your usage information for phone and broadband, and will provide options to suit your needs.
     
  • When it comes to health insurance, www.hia.ie, run by the Health Insurance Authority, allows you to compare details across thousands of policies.
     
  • For switching energy provider go to www.energycustomers.ie (run by the Commission for Energy Regulation) and for an interactive price comparison tool use www.bonkers.ie.
