At this rate, a household with average annual consumption will spend about €925 on electricity over the course of the year, once all taxes and charges are factored in.
That’s €210 cheaper than standard rates and is the newly-installed cheapest electricity deal on the market right now.

Electricity bill confusion
Last week, the Commission for Energy Regulation published the results of its customer survey for 2016, and the results were a real eye-opener about Irish customers’ understanding of energy prices.
Only 12% of electricity customers can make an accurate estimate at the unit rate they’re paying, over 33% are unaware of discounts available to them and 88% said they haven’t switched electricity suppliers in the last year.
