eir Sport is the only place to watch some of the biggest Premier League and European Champions Cup matches over the coming months.

One of the best things about winter is the massive amount of sport on TV. Or maybe it’s the excuse to watch a massive amount of sport on TV that’s so great.

Either way, December and January are traditionally some of the busiest months for great sporting encounters and this year is no exception.

Many of the most exciting Premier League and European Champions Cup of the season are coming up over the next few weeks, and a lot of them are being shown exclusively live on eir Sport.

Here’s a run down of 8 clashes that really caught our eye.

Premier League

Everton v Arsenal – December 13th, 7.45pm

It’s Koeman v Wenger under the lights at Goodison. Two of the game’s greatest footballing idealists, should be an entertaining one!

Crystal Palace vs Man United – December 14th, 8pm

A night-time visit to Selhurst Park in the depths of December? Welcome to the Premier League Messers Pogba and Ibrahimovic.

West Brom vs Man United – December 17th, 5.30pm

This will be Mourinho and co’s second tough away game in the space of three days. Not an easy December!

Liverpool vs Man City – December 31st, 5.30pm

Surely this’ll be one of the matches of the season! Two of the most popular managers going head-to-head under the lights at Anfield. It’ll be Aguero’s first game back from suspension too…

Man City vs Tottenham – January 21st, 12.30pm

We all learned that Man City were fallible when Spurs put them to the sword back in October. Revenge will be top-of-mind for Pep on January 21st.

Liverpool vs Chelsea – January 31st, 8pm

Many people see these two as the favourites for the title this year, but things could look very different when the final whistle blows on January 31st.

European Rugby Champions Cup

Leicester Tigers vs Munster – December 17th, 3.15pm

A big challenge awaits Munster in the second leg of their tie with Leicester.

Leinster vs Northampton Saints – December 17th, 7.45pm

Dublin will be a sea of blue on the 17th! If you don’t have a ticket, you can feel awfully smug watching from your cosy living room, away from the wintery weather.
